Here's an article contributed by a food lover - Persimmon.

I like char kuey teow, but not with cockles.

Try the char kuey teow @ the HC1 (Hawker Centre) beside the tmn taynton pasar, open from morning till noon, the chinese lady quite nice.

HC2 has nothing special, can try beijing mee with fried pork.

HC3 my favourite:
prawn mee(i always request beehoon as i dun like yellow mee),
vegetarian fish beehoon & vegetarian curry/tomyam (can't remember),
fresh prawn hor fun (RM3.80, the portion can't really fill a guy's stomach, but i like it),
drinks: barley foochuk (available not everyday),
fruits stall(fresh!)
*HC3 is the cleanest, open til afternoon, off on either monday or tuesday(not sure, sorry)

HC4 I stick to fish head beehoon only, the indon lady is generous to give big chunk of fish, RM4 only.

Other suggestions(not recommendation):
chicken rice: a few shops next to HC3, shop name is somthing like meng kee

beef noodle: newly opened, shop located at left on the way when u come out from HC1 heading to  Leisure Mall (i dun eat beef though)

fish ball noodle: jin man man (gold full full?) quite packed, but it's so so to me; the shop is at the same row with beef noodle
