I really don't know why this place behind Maybank& opposite the SEA Park wet market is called Millennium. But it operates at the Sun Fatt Kee kopitiam where you can get a pretty good beef noodle in the daytime.
Anyway this is where I think the best Nasi Lemak in PJ is. Just be warned that their service is somewhat slow sometimes.
The nasi here is adequately lemak.
The fried egg is awesome especially when you ask them to do it sunny side up where the yolk is not hard yet.
The nuts and ikan bilis is crispy and tasty.
The sambal has the almost the right balance of sweetness &
spiciness, though if I am being hard on them - I would say it's tad bit
on the sweet side. But it's still good.
Now for the killer - you might ask what could be the killer if I had
said how good all the other stuff are. The killer is their fried
chicken - marinated so well that the taste goes right to the bone &
fried to a crispy brown perfection. Sure it's unhealthy but after
having a bite of it, you won't care.
At RM4.50 for a plate of nasi lemak ayam goreng, I would say every sen is worth it.
Other noteworthy stuff to try there is the Indomie mee goreng coupled with an egg and their super ayam goreng.
And they make a very mean Milo O Ais as well. |
