Genting also got place to eat - by Luke Soon E-mail

"Most Chinese gamble, and for most of us, that means Genting. If you don't gamble, Sin City, err, City of Entertaintment awaits you still with fine cuisine.

Don't bother with any of the other food outlets; pocket your takings and head for Ming Ren or Imperial Rama. Though the Olive Restaurant is an honest attempt at finesse & haute couture, let's face it, it's Mr Lim's joint, so cannot-lah and  some more expensive-lah.

Ming Ren's the place if you fancy lamb, in all shapes, sizes, and colors (you get to keep the fur).

But my vote goes to Imperial Rama, hands down:
I eat there more than 4x a month (and no mum, I don't gamble).

Do yourself a favour and order a good ol home cooked favorite Pork Mince with Potatoes, sauteed in Black Sauce.
The pork is simmered in its own juices, and the gravy is thickened using potatoes. Sublime.

Then move onto dessert - it's gotta be the Fried Durian Tempura. No words can do justice; les goûts simplement superbe

Uh oh, did I forget to mention the main entrees? They're exactly that. Forgettable.

All cards accepted, but no chips allowed."
