My daughter surprised me one morning by asking for a dim sum breakfast rather than her usual fast food requests. So dim sum we went a hunting. Checking out the Damansara Utama area, we found Dim Sum Kitchen, which is right next door to Hing Loong Taiwanese Noodles.

Dim Sum Kitchen  is a dim sum specilaty restaurant, where the dim sum is only steamed when requested. Made to order dim sum usually would suggest that the dim sum would be better. Suggest - you got to remember that.

The Hong Kong Chee Cheong Fun was not very good. The "fun" was so thick that you could not see through it. The prawn was relatively fresh though.

The "siew mai" (pork dumpling) was decent but the roe on top of it looked like bits of red colour jelly.

The "har kow" (prawn dumpling) was really bland. My daughter who loves "har kow" took one and said that she had enough.

The "loh mai kai" (glutinous rice with chicken) was too dry.

The only thing going for this place is that parking on weekends is certainly ample. I can't say that I would come here again.
