Robert suggested that I should try this Nasi Lemak place in Subang Bestari and so one
night while we were actually out there we actually tried it out. Robert also told me that their cutlery was impressive but he didn't say how it was impressive - he just said "Be prepared to be impressed" and I was indeed impressed. The cutlery comes in a sealed plastic bag. Amazing. So they scored points on presentation of cutlery. And the serviettes they provided was also impressive. These are the type that you would typically get in a hotel.
But what it all boils down to is the food.
My wife had the half boiled egg which was excellent. Truly hald boiled.
The nasi lemak was good except that the ikan bilis was a bit too hard and there was no banana leaf. The fried chicken tasted good but the texture was not as very good - it was a bit too hard. And you should ask for them to serve the egg as a "mata kerbau" or "bullseye". They do it pretty well.
While Subang Bestari or Subang 2 seems to be out of the way for most people who live in PJ or KL, there's lots of good food places to discover. I think I know where my areas of coverage will be in the coming weeks.
I must also commend them on their attentive service.
