Here's an article that Luke Soon posted up on the forum but I thought Cabonara lovers would like to know about this.

Never been a carbonara fan, thot it too creamy, and too rich. So always went for the tomato based sauces, or even aglio olio. But my affinity for pork took over. Of all places, try Finnegan's pork bacon carbonara. Ask for a 'reduction' to get the sauce thick/creamy, and swap the fettucine for spaghetti. Then wash it all down with Kilkennys, Strongbow or a good half-pint Guiness.

The other all time favs include Bangers & Mash, and their Pork Snackers (comprising bacon bits, cold cuts, ham and sausages, all pork). There are a few outlets in town, but my 'home branch' i.e. the place where i practically paid for the furniture, is in Bangsar. If it's Bangsar, ask for Chee Keong. If it's the outlet downtown in Sultan Ismail, ask for Frank.
