Another restaurant located at the SS 14 waisikkai, Restoran Well Cook Gourmet sells a variety of claypot dishes from rice to noodles.

Their claimed specialty however is their claypot curry laksa & fried laksa.

The curry laksa wasn't really that good. It was really no better than any other curry laksa that you would get any other place. And to make matters worse the soup had way too much MSG in it.

The fried laksa was another matter. Not only was it interesting eating fried 'lai fun' (the type of noodles used in the soupy version of assam laksa) it tasted good as well. Topped with a garnishing of pineapple, diced cucumber, onions & peppermint leaves like what you find on assam laksa, this dry rendition of assam laksa went down very well with me. Each plate of fried laksa costs RM4.00

Note: I had the fried laksa after I had the curry laksa and I still finished it.
